NYC Hotel Reviews for Hotel Wales
“Great location, lovely staff”
Stayed here with group. Rooms & bathrooms clean & comfortable. Staff responsive when problem with A.C. which was fixed with-in minutes. Housekeeper dropped a toiletry while cleaning bathroom. I was called & my item replaced from local shop. Now that's service. Sara Beth's next door has great food(breakfast, lunch, dinner). Comfy mattress though bed small but it's NYC so don't expect huge rooms & beds. Would definitely return!

“A pleasant hotel in a great location”
Comfortable and clean room, quite small, but not unusual for NYC. Lovely welcoming cool punch drink in lobby on returning late afternoon (if you arrive in time) - nice touch. Great location - not far from mid Central park. Nearby buses direct to Manhattan. Nice roof terrace. ...

The boutique hotel was very nice and the staff helpful. It has several very good restaurants. Rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Located in the Carnegie Hills section in Manhattan, it is one block from Central Park. The are many museums and galleries in the area.

“Close to the Best of Manhattan”
The hotel is on Madison Avenue, only a block from Central Park and the Museum Mile on Fifth Avenue. It is also close to the Lexington Avenue subway and a couple of bus lines. The area abounds in stores and restaurants of all kinds. The building itself is old, but very well maintained. Our room and bath were spotless. The queen bed was comfortable and we slept well. The staff was helpful. There is a good restaurant next door, Sarabeth's, which served excellent breakfast....

This is a little gem of a hotel on the Upper East Side. The rooms are tiny but beautiful and very clean, and everything feels well made - very old New York in feel. We had a great view of the backyards of NYC brownstones, with magnolia trees just beginning to blossom. The staff were professional and friendly.
