NYC Hotel Reviews for Hotel Wales
“A Little Gem in the Upper East Side”
We love the Hotel Wales! This hotel is the perfect place to stay when visiting NYC. It is located in a very safe neighborhood within walking distance to central park, museums, boutique shopping and wonderful restaurants. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. I recommend this hotel to all my Boston friends.

“Great Boutique Hotel”
If you are doing things in the Upper East Side in the 90's, this is the place for you. Small, intimate, great employees. Rooms are not typical -- they make you feel like you are in the 1940's in a good way. Great 2nd floor 24 hour tea and coffee room. Have at least one breakfast at the place attached to it -- about the best breakfast I have ever had.

“Location, Location, Location! Service!”
Recommend this hotel highly for location and service. Have been to the hotel on three visits. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms have great showers. Some of the upper floor rooms look out into Central Park. There is an entrance directly into Sarabeths, known for great breakfasts and brunches, but also perfectly adequate for a quiet dinner after a business day or before going to the theater. The hotel has a lovely public area for free coffee and tea. The front desk staff is courteous and efficient. There is always a porter to help with luggage and cabs if needed. The maintenance staff was able to show me quickly how to adjust the heating and cooling in the room (had a question about the radiator; simple dial to regulate heat). The location is great for the Frick and Metropolitan Museums as well at Cooper-Hewitt, Guggenheim and Jewish Museums. There are at least seven restaurants within a one block radius, and two convenient bodegas. Good Italian, French and Mexican food is close at hand. Traveling alone often to the city for business, it is always great to know there is a hotel which will meet or exceed expectations. I look forward to trying their rooftop deck as the weather improves. Visit number four coming up; I even received a call to verify my reservation dates.

Alisha Taneja Blog- Hotel Wales X Saffron on Rose
Through the madness of NYFW, Hotel Wales served as the perfect haven where I could just unwind, relax, and take a break from the hustle and bustle of NYC. Hotel Wales welcomed me in the most amazing way, with a private suite over looking the gorgeous Madison Avenue neighborhood of NYC right in the most desirable part of town – Upper East Side. I absolutely loved the suite – it had a decorative fireplace, a lovely king sized bed, sofas, complimentary Voss water bottles, and so much more! Keep reading! “Wonderful Ambiance, Wonderful Staff”
Excellent location, beautiful part of town within walking distance of the great museums. Had a reservation glitch with my booking service - but Cathryn at the desk made all problems vanish. We enjoyed the comfortable public areas on the second floor, sipping complimentary coffees and teas and enjoying the views.
